Bio:
A Senior Lecturer in Arts Education at the University of Southern Queensland, and the winner of an Excellence in Teaching award for Open Education Janice’s interdisciplinary research draws upon theories of space, place, power and agency in education. Her arts practice includes digital and performed narrative and installations, and recent exhibitions have included augmented reality artworks of young Indigenous Australians, and the launch of 30 children’s digital books.  With 34 years’ teaching experience in the UK, Canada, Australia and Korea Janice is an associate editor of the International Journal of Pedagogies and Learning.
