Description
Through individual interviews with primary teacher participants in Ghana, this pilot study seeks to understand to what extent teachers’ use, adapt and share OER for their own professional development and what conditions encourage and support them to make use of OER in schools. Secondly it will explore whether the challenges to do so can be lessened through better OER design and structure or models of use. Finally it will consider the ways in which communities (local, national and global), context and culture might influence OER use for teachers’ professional development.
